The colours of the arteries and vein in the smiling face of the umbilical cord need to be swapped over. The vein carries oxygenated blood to the baby from the placenta and the arteries carry deoxygenated blood away from the baby. ie Blue eyes, red mouth.
Although technically true, I think that would be confusing as a teaching aid. The standard in medicine is to label veins as blue. Switching the colours here, although technically correct, is more likely to lead to errors, so I think it is probably better to leave it as is.
